Quik Stik Plus immersion blender is perfect for anything from preparing light mixtures to pureeing, whipping and emulsifying. This medium-duty immersion blender features a rubberized comfort grip and a compact construction that allows for safe and controlled operation. This reliable performance is made possible by a 1/2-Hosrsepower, 350-Watt 2-Speed heavy duty motor that allows for up to an 18,000 RPM processing speed. It has completely sealed 10-inch stainless steel fixed shaft and blade. It requires a 120-Volt electrical connection and is NSF and cETLus Listed. Limited 1-Year warranty. Comes with 6-Gallon capacity.

Heavy duty blender

I purchased this blender to use in making soap so, unfortunately, I can't use it in "regular" kitchen food preparation. That said, it works GREAT in my large batches of soap and hasn't let me down so far. It's so powerful, that I really can't imagine using it in my everyday cooking as it would pulverize everything (hey, maybe that's a good thing ... ). Anyway, if you're looking for a blender that can handle just about any job, this is the one. (That said, I have to tell you that I found this blender for about $100 less at a "business Costco".)

This hand blender is big, and comes with a 9-foot cord. Two things to beware of are that it has a commercial warranty, and that it's too big to fit the business end in a standard home-sized blender beaker. Please note the commercial warranty is void if the device is purchased for home use. Heeding that though, this hand blender is built like a troop carrier. It even has a nice safety feature, not common to the Waring line, that requires the user press two buttons simultaneously to start it and that the user hold the trigger button to keep it running. The other Waring commercial hand blenders keep running until you push a button, which isn't exactly as safe for the user. I'd buy this hand blender again even knowing I get no warranty as a home user. It'll probably last me 20 years. I didn't buy mine from Amazon, but I'd buy it again, just for the 9-foot cord.

Have wanted a good immersion blender for a long time and I did a lot of research on which one would suit my needs best. Mainly will use the blender to to make soups - have tried it so far on lobster bisque, split pea, and white chicken chili. It is big and fast. Will smooth a stock pot eight inches deep in less then two minutes. This is a big powerful tool, You would not use it to make a milk shake in a glass. It has two speeds, have only used the low speed so far as it quickly does the job. Easy to clean. The cord is plenty long. If you just want to make indiividual milk shakes, this is not for you. If you need to blend full stock pots effortlessly and quickly, you will enjoy this for years.
