Worthless

Rarely, if ever, do I write product reviews, but this particular one is so worthless I had to put something in writing to warn others of the dangers of even thinking this product might somehow function at the most basic of levels. This morning, I opened the box and took this thing on a maiden voyage to beat some egg whites. Over the first three minutes of use, the gears on the whisk stripped themselves clean and started smoking. Now it's totally unusable with the whole thing generally making a grinding sound and no longer spinning. How worthwhile is it to claim a one year warranty if the product won't even last through the first five minutes of use?

The first time I tried to use this hand blender the handpiece fell apart as soon as I turned it on! I was only mixing spaghetti sauce and immediately after it was turned on I had pieces of the thing flying all over my kitchen counter! It felt cheaply made - more like a toy than a real kitchen mixer (except Fisher Price is more solid than this!). Take my advice - don't even bother with this thing. It's a waste of money if you do.

I don't think I've ever given a review of something this bad.This item I bought from 1saleaday, same exact thing, for 12$. It wasn't worth that much.Same brand, same company. I came to amazon to look for something to replace it, saw this and decided to put out a warning.I tried to make a small amount of mayonnaise with the wisk part. With ONE EGG YOLK, and the collar to the wisk burnt out before it even started to get thick.Then I tried to make chili powder with the food processor part, and it wouldn't even break up the pieces, they were very well dried in the oven. I had to finish it in my regular blender.The immersion blender part does not click onto the motor part, it falls off easily. I am afraid to use it, just an injury waiting to happen.Save yourself the hassle and disappointment. Avoid this thing.
