EXCELLENT QUALITY HAND BLENDER!!!

I got it for $24.84, with taxes and shipping it came as $36.52. Still pretty affordable for such an excellent quality built hand blender. I also ordered a 30 oz. (Malt,Milkshake,Blender,Cocktail) Stainless Steel Cup for $5.45. You can not use the blade attachment in a glass cup. Shipping was very fast, in 3-4 days, because of the weekends, it all was by my door. It is a very sharp looking and powerful kitchen tool, a pleasure to use and easy to clean. I am very happy to have it! Thank you, Hamilton Beach!

I bought this blender about 6 months ago with the sole intention of using it for crafts & non-food related mixtures like homemade soaps & lotions. It works great for that, the 2 speeds are very useful for different textures. I didn't really have a use for the whisk attachment at first but recently decided to try it out on whipping cream. In less than a minute, I had a bowl of thick, fluffy whipped cream that rivaled what my big Kitchenaid stand mixer could accomplish. Again, the low & high speeds that this blender offers, make a big difference on how the final product turns out. And it was so much faster to assemble than my hand mixer with beaters. Who'da thunk a $20.00 impulse buy from Walmart would deliver such an impressive outcome? (BTW, at the time of this review, the price for this model at Walmart is still just $19.97.) Reccommended.

I got this at Walmart after unsuccessfully trying to find a replacement for my old hand blender(which worked for many years, I don't remember the make but it wasn't H.B.)It's heavy, and took a while to get used to. It splatters more than my older one did. I use it to make smoothies, so it has to be able to grind up frozen berries, chop up a banana, and blend protein powder. This did all that..but not as well as my previous one.The attachment head doesn't stay on well, I always had to tighten it. Then one day it wasn't staying on while in use, and inspection showed some plastic tabs inside the attachment had broken off. CHEAP workmanship. I used it daily less than a year!I also never used the whisk attachment (waste of money).Inexpensive and it shows. Next time I will buy a better brand which hopefully does not have plastic parts where it matters!!
